General Manager Sales- Underwear/China

ABOUT THE COMPANY


My client is a big international apparel manufacturer that supplies garments to the biggest retailers across the world. They are currently looking to hire an experienced GM Sales for their underwear/intimates unit in China.

ABOUT THE ROLE

GM Sales role

The person will be solely responsible for driving the sales of the intimates department, successfully maintaining existing business, but also being able to proactively expand the operations by developing wider portfolio of customers.

Main responsibilities:

- Achieve desired sales revenue and goals
-Build Sales & Marketing, customer relationship, negotiation strategies
-Design and propose systems to ensure maximize organization efficiency and effectiveness.
-Prepare stretch goals and objectives for key members to drive bottom line results.
-Lead, develop and coach sales term to expand market
-Work with production departments and external parties to ensure orders meet customer expectation
-Monitor and control cost effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement
-Tape resources from different departments and functions to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
-Develop and implement special projects to enhance business growth and future business development

ABOUT YOU


- Previous sales experience with apparel manufacturer

- Strong knowledge of the underwear/intimates segment

- International exposure with fashion retailers

- Ability to drive business development

- Ability to train and guide the sales team

- Willingness to relocate to China

- Strong communicator

- Fluent in written and spoken English
