A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Accessories Product Technologist to join this iconic luxury brand based in North West London.


With a cult celeb following, this world famous accessory label is known for their ultra feminine colours, prints and chic designs who have had an incredible growth over the recent years.

About the Product Technologist role:

As a Product Technologist you will be the main point of contact for all vendors for bulk product, part of your duties will be to:

- Create all accessories bulk specs ensuring all technical information and specifications are detailed as required.
- Managing the product from SMS thorough to delivery to store including testing and QC, liaising with Dept. Head, product developer, merchandising and design teams.
- Support product development team on successfully delivering SMS samples against Critical path deadlines.
- Ensure all product comments Inc. raw material approvals are distributed to vendors against the scheduled bulk milestone dates
- Maintain departmental quality, fit, testing and product labelling standards.
- Approving and analyzing test reports;
- Evaluating and assessing factories' capabilities in both quality and CSR
- Working closely with design and development teams and vendors to ensure suitability of materials and components for product end use.
- Understand product costing and the implications of changes to product specifications on cost price.
- Provide technical support on product during development stage.
- Work with Production Coordinator to ensure CP dates are monitored
- Dept. contact for internal team queries relating to product.
- Support Team on milestone meeting prep
- Warehouse/store visits with to ensure that product arrives to approved standards
- Upkeep of dept. archive
- General department admin duties


- A sense of urgency and the confidence to handle a variety of challenges
- Ability to learn quickly and thoroughly while continually recognizing and adapting to changing conditions
- Decision making which is focused on implementing practical, timely solutions
- An outgoing, poised and persuasive communication style which places emphasis on building rapport and relationships with individuals and groups
- Sound computer skills, particularly in Photoshop/illustrator/excel
- Experience in accessories product development
- Knowledge of leather would be an asset
- Awareness of production process
