Sales Account Manager

One of our clients, an established Occasion wear supplier to one of the most fashionable etailers, is currently looking for a tenacious and experienced Sales Account Manager to drive business and acquire new accounts in the UK and Internationally for 4 brands in their portfolio. If you have experience working in the same role for an Occasion wear supplier or brand and can hit the ground running in their Manchester office, this would be a great opportunity for you!

The Role:

  • Research and target potential department stores, etailers and large accounts in the UK and Internationally

  • Propose strategies to acquire and build new accounts for each of the 4 brands within the company

  • Manage the development process for Buyers each season by working closely with the design team

  • Responsible for the price negotiation process between the factory and Buyers, ensuring the desired margins and targets are achieved

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience working in a similar women's fashion Sales Account Management role for a supplier or brand to both UK and International retailers/etailers/department stores and the ability to build successful relationships

  • Experience working across Occasion wear, embellishments and embroidery is essential

  • Established and credible buying contacts who you are confident approaching to open new accounts with

  • A strong commercial eye and the ability to foresee potential opportunities and use them to grow the business

  • Excellent negotiation skills, a decisive character and the command to implement new ideas quickly and efficiently
