Sales Account Manager

An excellent opportunity for a Sales Account Manager has arisen to work at a well-established supplier based in East London. Our client is well versed in supplying fashion garments to high street retailers and e-tailers and operate a friendly yet fast paced working environment. If you have established buying contacts across fashion focused etailers and retail head offices and are confident in setting up meetings and wholesaling/obtaining contract orders then this is the perfect role for you!

The Role:

  • Approach Buyers across etailers and retailers to arrange meetings

  • Identify areas of growth for the business and really drive it forward by generating new ideas and opening new accounts

  • Manage the development process for Buyers each season by working closely with the design team

  • Responsible for the price negotiation process between the factory and Buyers, ensuring the desired margins and targets are achieved

  • Oversee the critical path with the support of merchandising teams to ensure all specific requirements are adhered to

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience working in a similar women's fashion Account Management role for a supplier to both UK and International retailers and the ability to build successful relationships

  • Established and credible buying contacts who you are confident approaching to open new accounts with

  • A strong commercial eye and the ability to foresee potential opportunities and use them to grow the business

  • Excellent negotiation skills, a decisive character and the command to implement new ideas quickly and efficiently

  • Experience in a similar sales-driven role within the fashion sector
