Merchandising Co-ordinator

Our client is a women's fashion brand that caters to the high street and are renowned for their creative use of prints. They have been established for more than ten years and have a strong presence across numerous retail channels. If you're numerically astute and proficient in Excel to an Intermediate/Advanced level and have experience working with garment manufacturing and shipping from China, I would love to speak with you!

The Role:

  • Creating and maintaining the shipment schedule of garment orders with factories in the UK and internationally

  • Working closely with Suppliers, Factories, Buyers and Merchandisers to ensure that delivery dates are achieved

  • Generating delivery notes, commercial invoices and packing lists and managing documents with Customs

  • Streamlining the delivery process in regard to shipment and transportation and staying abreast costs and negotiating these to be as competitive as possible

  • Managing all paperwork with the internal Finance time to ensure all delivery costs are calculated correctly

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Numerically astute and proficient in Excel to an Intermediate/Advanced level

  • Experience working in a similar role, specifically dealing with shipments of garments/accessories from China

  • Strong negotiation and problem solving skills

  • Diligent, accurate and able to work in a fast paced environment to achieve deadlines
