ABOUT THE COMPANY


Our client, an innovative lifestyle brand, is looking for a Head of Multi-channel sales planning.

The ideal profile is fluent in German with a strong planning multi-channel background.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Role

Reporting to the Director Group Strategy and Merchandise Planning , you will manage a team of 8 employees (Senior Manager Sales Planning, Manager Sales Planning, Junior Specialist Sales Planning), covering the following areas: e-com, retail and outlets across Europe and International.

Budget responsibility of 150-200m EUR Net Sales.

Main responsibilities include:

- Annual & half-yearly Net Sales, Order and Inventory budget planning for Full-Price Retail (DACH), E-Commerce and Outlet (WEU/EEU) channels

- Post season analysis and identification of business potential

- Planning of POS and divisional budgets across all planning key KPIs (Net Sales, Markdown, Markup, EBIT, Costs, KPIs, Inventory)

- Collaboration w/ Buying to plan the channels' structural assortment needs and collection lifecycles

- Planning of store closures/ openings

- Final budget release in collaboration with Business Leads and Director Group Strategy & Merchandise Planning

- Monthly re-planning and OTB release to channels buyers/ merchandisers

- Monthly inventory closing status report across Full-Price Retail, E-Commerce and DACH

- Planning and communication of Markdown budgets per division; in-season monitoring of markdown budget exploitation for end-of-lifecycle reductions and promotions

- Monthly net sales, markdown and gross margin reforecasting, including definition of optimization measures to increase financial output

- Performance and controlling analysis of measures undertaken

- Disciplinary leading and development of employees

ABOUT YOU


- Good understanding of German language

- Completed business studies

- At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position

- Knowledge of the market as well as experience in retail and omni-channel sales

- management experience

- Very good Excel skills

- Experience working with planning and merchandise management tools

- Very high analytical ability

- Enjoy entrepreneurial thinking and acting

- Understanding as an entrepreneur in the company
