- Identification and resolution of issues, risks and dependencies across programmes and projects

- Proactively engage and support all stakeholders to ensure common understanding

- Manage and motivate teams in order to deliver required outcomes.

- Develop, implement, communicate and maintain an operating model for strategic planning and the delivery of PMO capabilities.

- Develop and maintain the Technology strategy; capture strategic issues and the options for supporting and influencing the business strategy.

- Align the Technology function and other business units on the strategic value of technology to maximize the creation of business value.

- Lead the execution of the Technology strategy through implementation of the IT operating model.

- Oversee overall project and operational plans and budgets required to support the Technology Strategy.

- Ensure the plan reflects business objectives and achievability. Manage the associated prioritisation processes.

- Develop, implement and manage standard global policies, processes and tools for Portfolio, Programme and Project management to ensure:

- Continued alignment with corporate strategies and objectives


- Experience of leading the introduction, operation and improvement of a global planning and PMO capabilities.

- Knowledge and understanding of world-class Technology organisations with a strong external perspective of developments in Technology.

- Technology governance and change management experience with advanced stakeholder and risk management skills in situations of ambiguity.

- Experience of leadership in a global Technology organisation.

- Delivered transformational change in Technology organisations.

- Developed organisational capability (people, processes, technology, knowledge).

- Experience of innovation, strategy development and execution, planning and decision-making in an in a complex geographical/functional matrix organization. Strategic thinking will come naturally to you.
