Online Marketing Manager - Luxury retailer - Amsterdam

One of the most exciting luxury retailer based in Amsterdam is looking for an Online Marketing Manager to generate the traffic on the website internationally.


This luxury brand has made a huge impact globally thanks to their numerous products and today they are looking for someone to analyze and improve traffic flow on site and user experience. With expansion in mind for the coming year they are investing heavily in their staff.

About the Online Marketing Manager

As Online Marketing Manager, you will be in charge of:

Brand building :

-Understand the brand and overall communications strategy and translate the global vision into a digital action plan to drive traffic

-Create high quality marketing & communications campaigns fully integrated with online and offline marketing calendar and brand content

-Develop, implement and coordinate the online marketing strategy

-Manage the relationship with internal stakeholders as well as with external agencies and the 3rd party E-Commerce provider who runs the site & logistics

-Align all elements of the traffic mix resulting in a healthy CPA while staying on brand / brand building

Strategy & analytics :

-Set up KPI tracking for the channels involved and report on effectiveness of online marketing campaigns

-Report & Communicate key metrics and performance of branding campaigns to relevant stakeholders

-Analyse results on a weekly, monthly & quarterly level as well as organize monthly and quarterly business reviews.

-Analyse and continuously strive to improve site performance and user experience (e.g. usability testing, client profiling, agency)

Project management :

-Budgeting, scoping and delivery of campaigns

-Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Retail, Merchandising, Marketing, Communications and E-Commerce in order to optimize processes and drive sales online as well as in store

-Manage all projects from start to finish (internal workflows and processes)

-Anticipate, manage and resolve issues in a timely manner

-Execute roadmap projects in an efficient & timely manner by identifying priorities, bottlenecks and opportunities.


-4-6 years of relevant Digital Marketing experience in an international fashion environment

-Creative and strategic thinker who is resilient and able to adapt to fast pace environment

-Proven experience with:

- Agency briefing

- Budget Management

- Campaign Auditing (Display, Retargeting, Affiliates, Search)

- Keyword Research

- Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adwords)

-You know analytical and methodical - Which means you will need to be great with spread sheets, manipulating data and reviewing results

-Commercially-minded with an understanding of building a brand online

-You have excellent cross-cultural communication skills and flexible approach.

-Fluency in English; ability to speak foreign language is a bonus

-High performance orientation through self-motivation and agility with a clear bias for action; solution orientation and getting things done

-Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail & accuracy.

-Ability to work well independently as well as in a team.
