A brilliant opportunity has arisen to join an established fashionable Childrenswear and Ladieswear supplier who has a dominant presence across the UK and International markets and who is looking for an experienced Senior Childrenswear (Girlswear) Designer to be based in London.

My client has an exceptional reputation in the industry and over recent years they have experienced fantastic growth, working with some of the much loved retailers on the UK High Street. Situated in their modern and sleek London office they continue to dominate the ladies and Childrenswear market.
About the Senior Childrenswear Designer Role
With a very highly regarded reputation and solid client base in the UK market, as a Senior Childrenswear (Girlswear) Designer you would be an integral part of their successful and established team and reporting to the Director. The role will involve (but is not limited to);
- Creating innovative and commercial product (specicially wovens)
- Design direction for the girls category creating seasonal trends, colour palettes and silhouettes
- Continually driving strategy and key trends for the area
- Working closely with factories in Vietnam
- Overseeing range development ensuring the product reflects the brand strategy
- Ensure critical key dates are met
- Negotiating prices
- Approve all samples
- Working closely with Design and Production
ABOUT YOU
I am looking for, committed, hard working, talented individuals who are passionate about driving a business forward and creating beautiful Girlswear, wovens product.
- An established childrenswear designer with 5 + yrs experience for a supplier, with a clear understanding of the childrenswear high street market
- Experience with Wovens categories including soft separates and outwearwear
- Highly creative, with a fresh and commercial handwriting for the high street consumer and fantastic attention to detail
- Strong team player who is driven to succeed and draws inspiration from working collaboratively with others
