The Highest-Paid Models of 2017
Forbes has reported that after 15 years on top, Kendall Jenner has overthrown Giselle Bundchen as the world’s highest paid model. Between June 1, 2016 and June 1, 2017, Giselle earned a mere $17.5 million compared to Jenner’s $22million.
Still managed by her matriarchal mother Kris Kardashian, Kendall headed up campaigns with the likes of La Perla, Adidas and Estée Lauder. With 85 million Instagram followers, her earnings were also boosted by endorsements, the family reality show and her clothing line, Kendall + Kylie.
Furthermore, Giselle, albeit busy, has had a much slower year than her usual regime, taking a huge 43% dip from her 2016 earnings, where she amassed a whopping $30.5 million. Others on the list include the celebrity darling Chrissy Teigen and the Hadid sisters, marking the first ever time siblings have appeared on the list.
The good news is that women really are doing it for themselves with the models banking a cumulative $109.5 million. The top 10 below:
