Pharrell Williams x Adidas
Pharrell Williams and Adidas are ‘back at it again’ with their latest collaboration, Holi “Blank Canvas”, that dropped this morning. The highly anticipated collection will consist of three individual shoes and a track top, taking inspiration from the spring Hindu festival, Holi. Whilst Holi is a celebration of colour, where attendees paint their bodies via flinging brightly hued powder in the air, the Holi “Blank Canvas” trio is rather the polar opposite with a crisp white, coloured design. This way, it is left up to the consumer how they wish to style their shoe; keep in pristine condition or cover in the fantastic Holi festival powders for a unique approach.
The drop contains three sneakers: Hu NMD Blank Canvas, Tennis Hu PK Blank Canvas and Stan Smith Blank Canvas. The sneakers will be available online and in-store at many a of Adidas’s prime locations, as well at select retailers. To avoid overcrowding in-store, it is believed the most anticipated of the three, the Hu NMD, will be released on the Adidas official app.
Hu NMD Blank Canvas
For Pharrell’s most popular silhouette; an all white Primeknit upper with bound white laces below the tongue and a signature Boost midsole. The word ‘World’ running down the middle of the shoe and a serrated outsole completes the chilled look.
Tennis Hu PK Blank Canvas
Pharrell reverts to his beloved Primeknit upper paired with a block 3-stripe detailed leather lining. The sneaker also features an Adidas and Hu logo on the heel tab, which we love.
Stan Smith Blank Canvas
Leather lined, this Stan Smith classic has been updated with a white Primeknit upper and is seen as a simple alternative.
Blank Canvas Knitted Track Tops
This specially engineered white track-top features simple embroidered detailing on the left chest and back as well as a 2-way zip function.
Have you been one of the lucky few to get their hands on any of the three sneakers this morning? If not, keep your eyes peeled for a possible re-release. We definitely will be.
